Our mission is to help city and county planning agencies integrate environmental values into the planning and project review/approval process. This was true when Joan Lamphier established the firm in 1979 as Lamphier & Associates and remains true today under Scott Gregory’s leadership which began in 2008. As the science and procedures for environmental review have evolved, the role of the environmental consultant has become more demanding:

  • Requirements and performance standards for technical expertise have become more rigorous
  • Project management challenges have become more complex
  • Analyses have come to require greater inter-disciplinary coordination

The skills and capabilities of Lamphier-Gregory have similarly evolved, and we continue to provide professional planning services that meet and exceed these new demands. We are proud to have maintained our original mission, as validated by our lasting client relationships.
